Aggression in The Playroom

Therapists often hear parents describe their goals for their child as decreasing their child’s aggression.  In this course we will learn how to regulate aggressive behaviors when we encounter it in the playroom as well as identify ways to set boundaries/limits without stopping the flow of energy or the healing process.

Objectives

1 - Identify 3 ways to keep yourself regulated in the playroom

2 - Explain how to die in the playroom

3 - Define the therapist’s role as an external regulator

4 - Recognize & explore the concept of one foot in, one foot out
